Village pub reopens under new ownership

A ONCE popular pub in St Keverne has reopened it doors with some familiar faces behind the bar.

Matt Ferguson and his wife Emma have taken over as landlords of the Three Tuns in the village square following its closure six months ago.

Emma said: “As soon as we found out the Three Tuns was available we knew this was the pub for us. I spent my entire childhood living just down the road at Traboe and was christened in the parish church right next door to the Tuns, my parents were married there and my grandparents are buried there, so it really feels like coming home.”

The pub, which has recently undergone a major refurbishment, will offer five letting rooms from the beginning of May and a weekly rota of events including live music, curry nights and a pub quiz. For more information visit threetunscornwall.com.
