All things ukulele at festival

More than 200 nimble fingered ukulele enthusiasts are expected to gather for the third annual Cornwall Ukulele Festival.

This year’s festival returns to the Heartlands in Pool on Saturday March 3 and offers a range of workshops, jams, performances and songs.

The popularity of the ukulele, traditionally the sound of the dancehall and vaudeville, is on the march with more people than ever taking up the quick-to-learn instrument.

Doors open at 12pm and tickets cost £3 for adults, with free entry for accompanied children under the age of 12.
