Sending people quackers

THE annual Poldhu Beach Café Easter Duck Race is back and will see 1,500 rubber ducks take to the water to race money for charity.

Organisers hope the event on April 16 will make a splash and raise more than £1,750 for good causes.
This year participants can sponsor a duck for £1 with all proceeds being donated to Childrens Hospice Southwest.

Tickets are available from the beach café or T J Barbers at Menage Street in Helston. The cafe will be open for refreshments all day along with a tombola and other activities. The event takes place at Poldhu beach from 2pm.
