Rodney’s new owners hold inaugural Ale and Cider Festival

The Rodney Inn on Meneage Street in Helston is putting on their first major event this weekend since new owners Terry, Emma and Lionel took over the running of the pub earlier last month.

Now firmly established in their new environment, they will be hosting their first Real Ale and Cider Festival. This four-day festival will include a wide selection of local beers, wines & lagers from popular local breweries including St Austell Brewery, Skinners, The Rebel Brewing Company and Keltek.

There will also be plenty of entertainment throughout the weekend with DJ Devin Barnicoat on Friday and live music from local favourites Bob Love and acoustic band, Dr Dobro Blues on Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday the pub will be supporting the, now annual, Checked Shirt Day in aid of the Andrew Oliver Big Heart Fund, so you are invited to wear your checked shirt and make a small donation to the fund.
