Nostalgic play will have audiences rolling

The Gweek Players are gearing up for the opening night of their new comedy production.

Harvey! is a play titled after an invisible white rabbit and focuses on gentlemanly Elwood P. Dowd, a man who once considered himself smart, who is now content with merely being pleasant.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play was set in 1940s America but is now better known for the 1950 film starring James Stewart.

The performance takes place in Gweek Village Hall from Wednesday to Saturday at 7.30pm nightly with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. To book tickets call 0845 0948874 or visit
