New look for coffee shop celebrates key milestone

A popular coffee shop in Helston is thanking customers for their support following a recent refurbishment.

Costa Coffee in Meneage Street has celebrated its fifth birthday and marked the occasion with a complete refit.

The family-run branch is owned by Kernow Koffi, who have opened four more branches since launching the Helston store in 2012.

The renovation work was carried out at night to allow the store to remain open and was remodelled to create a brighter and more open plan store.

Operations manager Lydia Baker said: “Although we are locally owned, the benefit of being in the Costa family is that stores remain fresh and we are thrilled with the new look which is more open plan and noticeably brighter. We are pleased that we could arrange for the work to be done outside of our normal trading hours so that there was not any disruption to people who rely on their daily Costa visit. the team at Helston look forward to seeing you for a warm welcome.”

Regular customer and Helston mayor Gillian Geer joined Lydia Baker, store manager Debbie and assistant Caswin to celebrate the new look.
