Make your own jewellery at workshop classes

The Jewellery Workshop in Porthleven is holding a series of jewellery-making classes.

Sessions will offer the chance to create a personalised piece of jewellery such as rings, bangles and enamelled pendants.

The workshop is fitted with professionally equipped jewellery benches and tools for individuals to ‘create their very own masterpiece’.

Owner Paul Pennington said: “Our sessions are for people of all abilities. Monday’s class, which runs from 10am to 5pm teaches three techniques to create a bangle, stone-set ring and silver pendant. The classes on Tuesdays at 1pm and 6pm allows those attending to create textured silver ring or bangle. Wednesdays offers another all-day class from 10am to 4pm where you will wax-carve a ring, make a mould and cast it in silver. All materials are included in the price of the courses.”
