The flags are up in Helston as the town prepares for its annual Flora Day celebration on May 6.
This year the traditional May Day practice will go ahead on bank holiday Monday on May 1, a day that stems from ancient celebrations of spring.
The rehearsal will provide the opportunity for participants practice the Furry Dance ready for the big day.
The procession will leave the Guildhall at 7am and again at 7pm following a route from Meneage Street to Meneage House and back, Wendron Street, Penrose Road, Church Street, Cross Street, Tanyard Lane, Lady Street before heading to the Bowling Green and up to Coinagehall Street.
Organisers say the public is welcome to listen and join in with the band as they parade through the streets.
