Health hub to provide lifeline for farmers

A brand new initiative providing vital support to the farming community has been launched in Cornwall.

The Farming Health Hub aims to provide three strands of support to the farming community covering physical health, mental health and business health.

The new concept is the first of its kind to be developed in England where organisations from the private, public and voluntary sectors will join together to provide advice, support and guidance to farming communities.

Founder Jon James came up with the idea following a conversation with a Cornish farmer about the pressures in farming. The organisation will offer advice and support at pop-up venues at local livestock markets and other country events.
