A fruit and veg shop in Helston is continuing to grow by relocating to new premises in Meneage Street this weekend.
Mrs K’s Fruit & Veg first took root at Coinage Ope in the town two years ago, with the aim of supplying customers will locally-sourced fresh produce.
A grand opening of the new store located at 54 Meneage Street will be held on Saturday where Helston Mayor, John Martin, will cut the ribbon at 9am.
Mrs K said: “We are so proud to have come this far in just two years. We gladly support our local growers and producers and offer competitive prices on some of the freshest produce available locally from all your usual fruit and veg, to a wide selection of fresh cheeses. We are also very happy to support the local food bank with our fresh produce. We would like to thank all our customers for their support and look forward to seeing you on Saturday in our new shop.”
The business offers a free home delivery service to customers unable to visit the shop. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm and Saturday from 9am until 1pm.
Customers are advised the shop at Coinage Ope will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
