Fascinating Aïda star brings brand new show to HfC

As the comedy singing group Fascinating Aïda takes a break, Liza Pulman is touring the UK with her brand new show which arrives at the Hall for Cornwall later this month.

Accompanied by Joseph Atkins and the Stardust Ensemble, Liza will bring the audience an evening of some of the greatest songs from the silver screen, and take them on a musical journey celebrating the golden age of Hollywood and beyond. From songs such as As Time Goes By to Moon River, through Hitchcock, the romantic comedy and the great American western, these are the songs of our Saturday nights and our Sunday afternoons.

Liza said: “I firmly believe that the songs from these movies are in our DNA, and whether we know it or not they are part of our yesterdays and our todays, and will live on to be part of our tomorrows. With my gorgeous orchestra I have the opportunity to share my two great loves, music and the movies.”

Hollywood comes to the Hall for Cornwall on April 23 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at www.hallforcornwall.co.uk.
