Easter egg hunt with a twist

An Easter egg hunt with a difference will take place at Coverack Beach on April 20 from 12pm.

The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is inviting the public to hunt for egg cases from sharks, skates and ray fish, also known as mermaid’s purses, to help The Shark Trust collect valuable data on shark species distribution.

The event is part of an annual beach clean event and booking is not required. All equipment will be provided with all rubbish removed by the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.

Anyone attending the beach clean will also receive free entry to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary at Gweek.
