Comedy play takes the audience back to ancient Rome

An award-winning theatre company will step back in time to ancient Rome for its latest comedy production at Coverack.

Scratchworks Theatre’s performance of ‘Womans (like Romans but with a ‘W’)’ is described as “a feast for the eyes and ears, packed full of physical comedy, clowning and original music.”

The comedy’s original release last year coincided with the centenary of the first votes for women in the UK and tells the tale of the first female resistance.

The performance takes place on March 24 from 7.30pm at Lambeage Hall in Coverack. Visit for tickets.
