The Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard is hoping a night of comedy will deliver a belly-full of laughs and help to raise funds towards new mobile defibrillators.
The event at Helston Community College on January 19 aims to raise money towards the life-saving devices for emergency response vehicles in the Helston area. The new defibrillators will complement the static units already installed at several locations.
Cornish comedian Johnny Cowling is set to entertain crowds with stories on the ever-changing face of Cornwall, Cornish family life, holiday makers and more.
Tickets cost £10 and include a pasty supper and are available from Dales Butchers and Wearnes Jewellers in Helston or by calling 01326 563402.
