Charity celebrates first birthday with party

The Cornubian Arts & Science Trust (CAST) in Helston is celebrating the first anniversary of its opening with a party and songs from a new choir.

The educational charity first opened its doors to the public on May 5, 2018 in the former School of Science and Art given to the town by the philanthropist John Passmore Edwards in 1897.

Drinks and snacks will be served during the celebration where visitors can enjoy live entertainment from new all-male choir, Men Are Singing, led by friend to CAST, Seamas Carey.

The event takes place on May 5 from 4pm to 8pm at 3 Penrose Road.
