Cancer patient completes gruelling London Marathon

A man from Porthleven and his daughter, both took part in this year’s London Marathon to raise funds for charities helping him to battle cancer.

Clive Christophers was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and decided to run the gruelling 26.2 mile route with his daughter Tamsin Benner to raise money for The Friends of Porthleven Surgery and the Cove Macmillan Centre at Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske.

Clive said: “Please help us raise as much money as we can to help support these two charities so they in turn can support and treat present and future patients and families.”
