HELSTON MUSEUM is looking for volunteers to take part in a new arts project connecting people through the clothes they wear.
Artists Joanna Wright and Lenka Clayton will set up a temporary tailor shop at the museum and invite passers-by to allow them to take their scissors to a piece of the clothing they are wearing. If permission is given, the artists will cut a diamond-shaped piece of fabric from the clothing and replace it with a contrasting piece.
The museum is seeking people with sewing skills to help repair the clothes with a new patch.
