A Helston pub was buzzing with business as it’s opening night drew a large crowd.
The Beehive Bar in Coinagehall Street has been reopened by experienced publican Neal Hicks after closing earlier this year.
The new premises had undergone extensive renovations ahead of the grand opening and the new owner hopes the new venture will be a success.
They are open during the day with the latest fixtures from BT and Sky Sports being shown live and not closing until late, 3am on Friday and Saturday when they have an in-house DJ to complete the weekend party theme.
Mr Hicks, who previously owned The Bell Inn and The Rodney in Meneage Street, said: “The pub is known by locals as The Beehive despite several other names and used to be a busy pub where people knew they would have a great night out. We are returning to its roots with great service, good prices, DJ’s, karaoke and late night opening hours and look forward to welcoming new and regular customers to this iconic pub.”
