The sight of a ‘Store Closing – Everything Must Go’ sign attached to the fence of Cornwall Farmers at Water-ma-Trout Industrial Estate has caused shock and sadness for many local people.

In a continuing theme for this column, road planners have yet again left me confused with a poorly planned alteration to a road in Helston.

Perpertrators of domestic violence are cowards of the highest order. Any man (or woman) who raises their hand against their partner deserves to be revealed and shamed for their stupidity.

Readers may have already seen the somewhat comical images of a BMW parked on top of a Mini at Hilltop Garage in Helston, which could have ended in tragedy rather than laughter.

Sometimes there aren’t enough words to express how I feel about the worsening state of our roads and pavements, with the lack of investment causing problems for motorists and pedestrians.
