A talented artist who has worked on an Oscar and BAFTA-nominated film is set to recreate a Van Gogh masterpiece in aid of a children’s charity.
Sarah Wimperis created works for the 2017 animated biographical drama ‘Loving Vincent’, about the life of painter Vincent van Gogh. The artist is set to reproduce a full-sized painting by the famous painter at The New Inn at Manaccan on April 3 that will be auctioned in support of Children’s Hospice South West’s Little Harbour Hospice.
Organiser Pam Luddington said: “We are fortunate indeed to have living in our small community a number of very talented writers and artists who generously give not only of their time but also, as in this case, their work to be sold in aid of charity.”
Sealed bids for the painting can be made before the event by 7pm on April 3 either by hand, post or email to the New Inn.
